The Crossroads: Change in Rural America Exhibit has left our building traveled on to Greensburg, KS. 

COMPANION EXHIBITION:

Allen County: Trails to Rails to Highways and Back

This exhibit will remain on display through December 2020!!

Come and view it, M-F from 9 AM-4PM!

A collaboration by the Allen County Historical Society, Bowlus Fine Arts Center, Thrive Allen County, Iola Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Bowlus and the Iola Register.  

When attending the Bowlus for public events, you will be asked to read the Bowlus terms and safety protocols for entering the venue. By entering the doors of the Bowlus, you are accepting the terms. Protocols and terms will be posted outside of all entrances and will be kept up to date on the website.

Crossroads: Change in Rural America is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and State Humanities Councils nationwide. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.

NASHVILLE LEGACY: THE MUSIC OF FLOYD CRAMER & CHET ATKINS

Music Series Event
Pianist Jason Coleman and guitarist Meagan Taylor take audiences on a journey back in time to Nashville’s “golden era,” sharing the music made famous by Jason’s grandfather, piano legend Floyd Cramer, and Meagan’s uncle, guitar virtuoso Chet Atkins, as well as by the countless country, pop, and rock artists whose careers they impacted.
