The Bowlus Fine Arts & Cultural Center is seeking an energetic and forward-thinking individual to fill an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR position opening. The ideal candidate would have experience working in management position in a performing arts center responsible for for multiple aspects of producing theatrical and concert event. A background in arts education is a plus. APPLY HERE.

The Friends of the Bowlus have been hard at work on their latest and most significant project to date -- a new east entrance addition and Fine Arts Plaza.

The Iola Middle School and Iola High School bands kick-off our holiday concert season with a 2-part program in the Bowlus Auditorium.
The Iola Middle School program starts at 6:00 p.m. with the 6th-8th grade concert bands and jazz band. The kids will take a few minutes to re-set and the Iola High School program will start at 7:30 p.m.
Front doors and the west ramp entrance will open at 5:30 p.m. This is a FREE event and is open to the public; no tickets required.
