X-WR-CALDESC:This event includes not only Greater Vision and the Mark Tramm
el Quartet . . and you guessed it\, the Second Half Quartet too!\n\nSince
December of 1990\, Greater Vision has inspired audiences with their rich v
ocal blend and their effective ability to communicate the message of the g
ospel. They have established a firm place at the pinnacle of Christian mu
sic\, and have become the most awarded trio in the history of Gospel music
.\n\nFor over forty years Mark Trammell has been blessed to sing Gospel Mu
 sic. Something he says\, 'evolved from a dream to a life's call\; from j
ust singing to ministry.' Many long time observers and followers of Gospe
l Music consider him to be one the greatest baritone singers of all time.
He has won multiple awards as a singer and producer\, and has been a mem
ber of four of Gospel Music's most acclaimed groups - The Kingsmen\, The C
athedrals\, Greater Vision and Gold City. For most people\, just being w
ith one of these legendary groups would be the pinnacle of a career and ju
stification for resting on your laurels. But for Mark now is not the tim
e to kick back and relax. Instead\, it is time to step into a fresh miss
ion that focuses on evangelism through the seamless integration of Gospel
Music and preaching - The Mark Trammell Quartet.\n\nIn 2014\, Greater Visi
on and The Mark Trammell Quartet appeared the same night at an event in Ma
rion\, Illinois. Intermission ran longer than expected. Before stepping ba
ck on stage\, the promoter pulled Gerald Wolfe aside and asked\, “Could yo
u close the second half with both groups on stage singing a few songs toge
ther?” Gerald answered\, “Yes\, we can do that.” What followed was an expe
rience like no other. Since then\, promoters have been asking – not just f
or GV and MTQ to appear together – but to replicate what took place on sta
ge in Marion\, Illinois. \n\nTickets are on sale through the Southeast Kan
sas Christian Artist Series (SEKCAS) Box Office.
