2026 Rehearsal & Concert Announcement
Dear Orchestra Members and Musicians:
We are excited to announce the beginning of the Iola Area Symphony Orchestra rehearsal season! Our first rehearsal will be held on Monday, October 12th, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at the Bowlus Performing Arts Center.
Rehearsals will continue each Monday evening from 7:00–9:00 p.m. through November 30th. There will be no rehearsal on Monday, November 23rd.
We invite all former members, current members, and new musicians who would like to participate to join us. Whether you have played with the orchestra before or are interested in becoming a new member, we welcome you to our rehearsals as we prepare for our upcoming performance.
Our concert will be held on Saturday, December 5th. The dress rehearsal will begin at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the concert, followed by the evening performance.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make music with fellow musicians from throughout the Iola community. We hope you will join us for rehearsals and be part of this year's Orchestra performance.

However, the orchestra’s legacy in our community dates back to 1965, making it a treasured part of Iola’s cultural history.
We’re always excited to welcome new musicians! If you’re interested in joining the orchestra or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’d love to hear from you.
