CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE POSITION
The Bowlus Fine Arts and Cultural Center in Iola is seeking a dependable, motivated individual for a part-time custodian/maintenance position, with the potential to become full-time.
Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining public areas, assisting with building and equipment needs, monitoring the facility during occasional evenings and weekends, and interacting courteously with patrons, students and other building users.
Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work independently and comfortable performing a variety of changing tasks. A basic understanding of building systems, including HVAC, generators, irrigation and other mechanical equipment, is preferred.
This position requires working indoors and outdoors throughout the year and the ability to bend, kneel, climb and lift or move materials weighing 60 pounds or more.
