Matt Johnson and New Jet Set – Swingin' the Disney Songbook
Swingin’ The Disney Songbook! is a multi-media enhanced concert featuring memorable Disney
music reimagined through the lens of classic American jazz. The songs hail from some of Disney’s
most beloved animated films, including Cinderella, Peter Pan, Dumbo, The Jungle Book, Toy Story,
Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, Coco, The Little Mermaid and many, many more. The show’s creator and
host is drummer Matt Johnson, a Disneyland Cast Member since 1979. Johnson’s narration takes the
audience on a journey well beyond the band’s masterful musical performance by sharing historical
background and behind-the-scenes insights into each unforgettable song. The New Jet Set features
piano, guitar, bass, drums and female vocalist.
