Four Allen County residents whose ancestors were pioneers here will tell about their families' stories. Panelists are Clyde Toland, Lavon Johnson, Judy McGraw, and Dick Works. This event is FREE and open to the public.
This event is being held in conjunction with the Iola Reads Winter 2016 book selection A LANTERN IN HER HANDS by Bess Streeter Aldrich. Copies of this book may be picked up (for a small donation) at the Iola Public Library, any USD #257 school library, Family Physicians, the City of Iola Utilities Office, Bennett Coin Laundry - and several other locations around town.
