Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra Presents: Nosferatu

Released in 1922, Nosferatu is considered one of the most foreboding and influential horror films in the history of cinema. In this first-ever screen adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, what is supposed to be a simple real estate transaction leads an intrepid young businessman deep into the heart of Transylvania, and the castle of the
other-worldly Count Orlok, portrayed by the legendary Max Schreck in a performance which has spawned its own mythology. But is the Count just the wealthy eccentric that he appears to be, or something much more sinister?
This 90-minute silent film masterpiece is accompanied live by the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra (www.peacherineragtime.com). Using the original silent film scores, Peacherine and conductor Andrew Greene authentically recreate the grand movie going experience of the early 1900s, performing off the original, antique orchestral scores and historic, period instruments. Put on your flapper costumes and bowler hats, park your Model T down the street, and enjoy a time-traveling evening with Peacherine not to be missed!
